At the base of the beak, the schleich® FARM WORLD swan has a striking black knob. This swan owes its name to this. The large birds belong to the duck family and prefer to live near lakes and ponds. There they feed on aquatic plants and small animals. When looking for food they go upside down with their long necks in the water. Once a year they moult to get rid of their old feathers and replace them with new ones. Schleich's figures are faithfully reproduced and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand. In this way the figures always correspond to reality.
