The alpaca family of schleich® WILD LIFE themed world comes from the Andes in South America, where the animals are mainly bred for their soft, warm wool. They belong to the humpless camels and have a very calm and peaceful character. The two alpaca foals each have a different coat color, one is white and the other is brown. They drink from the mother for about 6-8 months, before they start to eat grass. The Schleich figures are faithfully modeled and represent educationally valuable toys.
